Sustainably Made for 42 Years (And Counting!)

PlanToys has been in business since 1981. Our founder, Vitool Viraponsavan, and a group of architecture students founded PlanToys after discovering that rubber trees were being burned down after the latex industry no longer needed them. PlanToys prioritizes environmental preservation and inspires children and their families to do the same through the joys of play. Our motto is "Better Kids, Better World."

Handcrafted In Thailand

Every single PlanToy is meticulously crafted and produced at our headquarters in Trang, Southern Thailand. Our skilled artisans are involved in every stage of the manufacturing process, encompassing wood harvesting, precise cutting, meticulous sanding, artful painting, meticulous sewing, expert assembly, and careful packaging. Supported by our reliable machines, our dedicated team can accomplish any task with excellence and precision.

Approximately 73% of our materials are sourced within a 30-kilometer radius of our factory, leading to reduced energy consumption and carbon emissions from transportation.

PlanToys Support All Ages & Stages

From the earliest stages of development, PlanToys engages children and supports their growth through significant milestones like grasping and tummy time. As children progress, Our toys not only spark children's imaginations, but also foster fine motor skills, ignite problem-solving abilities, encourage mathematical thinking, nurture emotional well-being, and provide diverse benefits that contribute to their overall development.

With collections such as Unit Plus, we create toys that can be part of children's lives for many years as they learn new skills.

PlanToys developed the Better Aging Series to help aging adults maintain cognitive wellness and support them through the most common chronic conditions for adults ages 65 and up, including arthritis, heart disease, depression, and Alzheimer's. This collection also brings different age groups together, learning from experiences and making connections through storytelling and games.

Our dedication is reflected in our use of non-toxic materials, adoption of green energy production, engagement in environmental volunteer programs, ongoing calculation of our carbon footprint, and more. Additionally, we strive to maximize resource utilization by repurposing our leftover woodchips and sawdust, transforming them into an innovative material called PlanWood.

We plant hundreds of trees every year at our Forest of Play in Trang, Thailand.
