What Is PlanWood?

We're passionate about finding innovative ways in which we can reduce waste. After realizing we had an ample amount of sawdust and woodchips leftover from production, we worked with engineers to find a way to transform these materials into something tangible, rather than having them go to waste. The final result was named PlanWood.

PlanWood is created from rubberwood sawdust, organic pigments, and non-formaldehyde glue (E-Zero). The mixture is compressed in heated molds to form a solid shape. With PlanWood, we have more flexibility with the types of wooden shapes we can make, from giraffes to boats. PlanWood is extremely durable, making it perfect for waterproof toys.
